US warned India long before Mumbai attacks
Manchester News.Net Tuesday 2nd December, 2008
Media reports have said the US warned the Indian government about a potential maritime attack against Mumbai at least a month before last week's terrorist strike in the country's financial capital.
CNN, citing an unnamed US counter-terrorism official, said US intelligence indicated that a group might enter the country using a sea route to launch an attack on Mumbai.
It said Indian security forces confirmed to it that not only did US officials warn them of a water-borne attack in Mumbai, but also that they were told this twice.
The area entered a higher state of alert for a week, including tightened security measures at hotels, but those efforts were eventually reduced.
ABC News cited a second government source to say that specific locations in Mumbai, including the Taj Mahal hotel, were listed in the US warning.
Indian intelligence also intercepted a satellite phone call Nov 18th to a number in Pakistan known to be used by a leader of the LeT.
Indian intelligence sources said the intercept also revealed a possible sea-borne attack.
US intelligence officials told ABC News
that agencies had been tracking the phones and SIM cards recovered by Indian authorities from the terrorists involved in the Mumbai attack, leading to a treasure trove of leads in Pakistan and several possible connections to the US.
Officials said one of the cell phone SIM cards might have been purchased in the US but would not provide any more details.
One former intelligence officer told the network that the United States National Security Agency has the technical means to retrieve all calls made from satellite and cell phones in south Asia.
He said: “Once we have the number, we will be able to know everyone who was called and where the calls were made from.”

This is all a setup to invade a Muslim nation. Like the 911, the mumbai attack were known by the authorities. But the authorities just ignored it. The reason for this is simple, this will give them an excuse to wage war against a Muslim nation. Why do we tolerate such inscrupulous behavior from everyone. All we want to do is live in peace. Everytime a muslim is involved in a crime, all the muslims get blamed for it. Please do not blame all the people in pakistan because of a few bad hats. We would like a live a good life just like the next guy. Peace to all.

Big brother is always watching us
It seems that a man has lost his individual freedom, because “Big brother” has taken the place of god, he observes all of our moves, but the big question is, this “Big brother” that has taken the place of god, is he to protect us, or is he to just enjoy to see us kill one another, so that he will benefit in one way or another.
I say; would it not be better not to have this “Big brother” in the first place, and let each solve their own problems as they arise, without this “Big brother” peeking in, and at his convinienze strumentalize for his benefit as he pleases?
Sammy, who is an only son, and has no brothers and sisters.
