LONDON, May 15 (Xinhua) -- The FA Cup final between Manchester City and Chelsea is the biggest game in England over the weekend, but there is also drama in the Premier League.
Manchester City is clear favorite to beat Chelsea at Wembley to add the FA Cup to the Carabao Cup it won earlier this season, as Pep Guardiola's side hasn't lost in any of its last 13 meetings against Chelsea.
Furthermore, the London side is apparently in flux under temporary coach Calum McFarlane, as it waits the appointment of a new permanent coach. Manchester City is confident of winning a 17th title of Guardiola's reign.
But the FA Cup title appears to be Chelsea's only chance of playing in Europe next season and the only way to take something from a disappointing and frustrating season after winning last summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
In the Premier League, Arsenal will be optimistic about re-opening a five-point lead over Manchester City when it entertains second from bottom Burnley on Monday.
Burnley's relegation was confirmed weeks ago and it has five defeats and a draw in the last six games, so anything other than a win for Mikel Arteta's men would be a huge shock and would put the pressure on Manchester City to win away to sixth placed Bournemouth next Tuesday.
Indeed, if Arsenal wins and Manchester City fails to win on Tuesday night, Arsenal would be Champions before the last round of matches.
Aston Villa hosts Liverpool in the Premier League on Friday night and although Unai Emery's side will have one eye on next week's Europa League final against Freiburg, it still needs a win to assure a fifth-place finish and a place in next season's Champions League.
If Aston Villa finishes fifth in the league and win the Europa League, that would mean whoever finishes sixth in the Premier League would also gain a Champions League spot next season.
That hope will inspire both Brighton, who visits a Leeds United that has nothing to play for after a successful return to the top-flight, and Brentford, that is at home to Crystal Palace, that has its own European final the week after next when it faces Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League.
There is little at stake when Everton plays Sunderland and Wolverhampton. A home win for Manchester United against Nottingham Forest is a dead-rubber but may strengthen Michael Carrick's case to be made permanent coach.
