LONDON, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Manchester City moved into the English Football League Cup final for the 10th time after beating Newcastle United 3-1 on Wednesday and 5-1 on aggregate, setting up a final clash against Arsenal.

The eight-time EFL Cup winner surged into a 3-0 lead in the first half thanks to Omar Marmoush's brace and a Tijjani Reijnders strike.

Anthony Elanga pulled one back for Newcastle after the break, but the Magpies were powerless to prevent City from cruising to victory.

City will play Arsenal in the final on March 22, after the Gunners beat city rival Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate on Tuesday.
